Jamaal Wright is Assistant Professor of Geography at the University of Florida. Wright’s research interests include the study of race and place in urban America. His publications include “The Morphology of Marronage” (2019) and “Theorizing diverse economies in the context of racial capitalism” (2019). In 2023, he received the American Association of Geographers Glenda Laws Award.
